I love to stay informed of current news and events, but sometimes using Google News to find the latest is just too damned boring for me. Luckily, Pixsy.com has the solution! This new site was just named to TIME Magazine’s Top 50 list of coolest Web sites.

Pixsy takes the latest news and breaks it into categories, but it also appends each news item with an image to help those of us who are more “visual” processors of information. Personally, I find it many times easier to find topics relevant to my interests.
