I have a PPC-6700 and am trying to find the VCARD to be able too import my contacts onto my car telephone address book. Any help would be appreciated. I can do it one at a time, but that is literally going to take forever.

I had this phone but it got stolen unfortunatly. Im shopping around and no phones come even close to this one.
Im buying a used one from Sprint because I am so desperate to get it back.
It is an amazing phone, and it is worth its price!
My favorite feauture about it had to be the Voice Recorder, because not only could you make your own ringtones, but you could put in memos and things like that. I like using it for my homework from time to time (:.

Gepa,

I would absolutely buy this phone again, although now Sprint has the 6800 which is a lot thinner, lighter and faster.

I'd choose it over the iPhone because I wouldn't want AT&T as a carrier (poor coverage and slow data speeds), and the Treo has a smaller screen, harder to use keypad, proprietary charging port, and the Palm OS doesn't sync with Outlook nearly as well.

Thanks for this informative article. Would you still buy this phone today instead of iphone or other pda such as treo? Are there any newer models of this phone or a better phone today?

To use the 6700 as a modem you need to download a file onto the PC you want to connect to. You can find this file (and a tutorial) at
http://ppcgeeks.com/how-to-using-your-6700-as-a-usb-modem-for-your-computer-t42.html

the above link is to link with usb

and if you want to link with bluetooth use this link

I love my ppc...ive had it one year now. Original price just over $600.00. They are coming out with a new upgrade ppc in June I was told from Sprint. Im trying to get the download for mine now. There are a few things that are not working as well without the latest download.

Perla,

Unfortunately they don't sell it anymore, however you can pick them up on eBay. If you get one, you just take it to the Sprint store and tell them you want to swap your current phone with the new one, they program it right there and send you home using it!
