My regular readers know that I love the British TV show Top Gear. They’ve given us such fine shows as the Bugati Veyron and Lamborghini Gallardo reviews… but now they’ve really outdone themselves.
In this episode the guys take on a ridiculous challenge to drive across Alabama in cars painted with offensive comments in order to find out what happens.
The funny thing is that you can tell at the beginning they think it’s funny and aren’t too worried. But when you see what happens later you’ll definitely understand why they are fleeing in fear of their lives…
Props to Jimbeau for finding this one.

Yach — that’s crazy. “They’ve even shot their own sign…” hahaha.
Well, what did they think was going to happen?
I didnt like the slander against southern whites (no, I’m far far north…Milwaukee) but I did find the anticipation funny. I just think this public shock-stunting is getting tired, and the “Jackass/MTv” guys beat it to death already…stopped being funny a year before their first movie was released.
Reminds me of the movie “Kentucky Fried Movie” where an Evel Knievel-type went to a black neighborhood and yelled “N*gger!” as a death-defying stunt.
If this TV crew did that, they’d be killed for sure…and after death, prosecuted for a hate crime, and sued by the NAACP…then trashed by the local news media, which would be blaming them for the riots in town at the moment…
LOL, that was funny all the way through. Not going to america. Seems freakin’ crazy there.
