How cool is this? I didn’t even know Bruce and Chuck were ever in a movie together, but someone found and posted this excellent clip of the two of them going at it!
It’s a little slower than the “Hidden Dragon Crouching Tiger” action sequences we see today, but I tend to like this a little better anyway.
By the way, Chuck commits one of the classic blunders right behind never get involved in a land war in Asia. Never go up against Bruce Lee when death is on the line!
They had to slow down the video because bruce was moving to fast for the camera and it couldnt catch his movements without being a blur…great movie must have watched it 20 times as a kid
Having a father who enjoyed watching Chuck Norris movies, I didn’t realise that Bruce Lee and Chuck Norris made a movie together until at least ten years ago. Proves people don’t know everything, then again I didn’t know anything about Chuck Norris until I got tuned into this thing called the internet.
One thing I have always wondered. Did Chuck Norris make an appearance at Brandon Lee’s funeral? I remember his death and Steven Seagal being there but I don’t know if Norris made an appearance. I thought that maybe he could of made an appearance as a sign of respect to Bruce at least. Then again I don’t know what sort of relationship he honestly had with the Lees.
Hope someone can answer this question.
Well, I certainly don’t know the answer to that question Glenys, but I’ll tell you what I do know about Chuck.
As you may know, he’s from Dallas, and one night a few years ago my wife and I went to dinner at our favorite fancy restaurant here called Star Canyon (closed now, but owned by Stephen Pyles). Chuck was there with a group of people and they were honestly the loudest most obnoxious people I’ve ever heard in any restaurant, anywhere. I also remember that despite the fact that the place was non-smoking, Chuck was smoking a cigar.
I could have caught him on a bad day, but I must say that I went from a big fan to a small fan that evening.
John
I never thought Mr Norris would be a cigar smoking guy – proves you don’t see everything when it comes to a celebrity’s life. It is definitely a lifestyle which is orchestrated to the point you wouldn’t know what is fact and what is fiction, and sometimes you need to see things for your own eyes to wake up to the fact that a favourite celebrity is not “all that”!
