Most Incredible Hockey Fight Ever

June 29, 2007

The video clip below is from a 1987 match in Czechoslovakia between Canada and Russia. It started off just like any other hockey fight, but soon escallated into a situation where all of the players on the ice were going at it. As if that weren’t bad enough, both benches cleared and eventually every player [...]

Best Argument I’ve Heard to Take Global Warming Seriously

June 28, 2007

I think by now everyone knows what side of the environmental debate I’m on. And I’m aware that I have friends and relatives that still have differing opinions on the matter. When we discuss it I normally argue that the consequences of being wrong about global warming are potentially far, far worse than the cost [...]

June 25, 2007

Finally! A little justice! When I reported on Judge Roy Pearson several weeks ago suing his dry cleaners for $65 Million there were several people who chimed in on the issue. Well, I’m happy to report that not only did Pearson lose the case, but he’s been ordered to pay all the legal fees of [...]

Tiananmen Square and the “Tank Man” Protester

June 25, 2007

It’s hard to believe that it’s been 18 years since the Tiananmen Square Massacre and the legendary “tank man”. But this month marks the anniversary, and given that enough time as passed that a new generation has been born and without hearing about it I thought I’d give a little reminder surrounding events of the [...]
