Yeah, I didn't notice before but I now see that 7 of the 11 videos have been removed. Unbelievable.

Kind of ironic how many of the would be "disturbing" videos suddenly "disappear" for whatever reason. My guess is legality. In my mind, that means there is much truth behind them (the videos), and whatever higher power you may or may not live your life under forbid that the truth about corruption get out for the sake of that deity, or simply just good ol' fashioned morality. Nonsense!!! Great site. Should follow up by looking at public records on these so called peace officers when possible. Hard to contain the veins poppin' outta my neck and forehead. TY for opening my eyes further.

this is horrible, its come to a point where society overlooks it and turn their head as if the people in the videos (whether they be suspects or innocent protestors) deserve a beatdown like these. the police are pathetic. when i was 15, i was arrested subdued and choked till i blacked out, i got charged for assualt and battery against on leo, and resistin arrest with violence as an adult. i look at it like this, one day ima do the same to him and hes not gonna b in handcuffs.

im currently writin a paper and speaking on police brutality and id be grateful to get any advice or pointers to help me prove my point and get an A+!!

John P; thanks for exposing the police corruption; I wish you have your own TV show because I get sick and tire of watching "COP" TV show which shows police mistreating citizens. Do you accept donation to keep this site open? If so, I will be the first to donate!

What about the cops we hired to serve and protest us? Are those the cops abusing the people in the videos or are they the cops watching the abusers? So let me see if I understand this correctly, those assaulting are the bad cops and those watching it happen are the good ones. Which ones are those that we hired to protect and serve us. Why do we not just pass a law allowing members of our community to beat the hell out of and possibly kill suspected criminals and therefore we have no need for cops. Reasonable force is one thing but when you continue the brutalize a human who is already in restraints you have taken it beyond serving and protecting. We as a civil society and under our constitution supposed to be innocent until proven guilty.

Zach,

You sound like a naive little sheeple. And unlike you, I know for a fact that I'm not wrong - I happen to know several ex-cops and I've heard a boatload of stories.

Oh, and before you sit around insinuating that I'm some weak ass desk jockey you should know I'm a former Marine. Those cops only have a city with laws to enforce because of the blood Marines shed to keep this nation free.

So, I did my part, and I've earned the right to criticize the people who violate the very freedoms I served to protect. What the hell did you do?

Should any police officer become that fed up with the job, it's time to quit. It's preferable to those that remain cops despite growing more bitter and violent by the day- and those good cops that witness it should do something to stop it for the sake of the community and the reputation of their precinct.

I don't agree with the beatings, or abuse of power. But you are wrong when you say there are hundreds that don't get caught. Rather than sitting on the side and complaining about how abusive cops are, get off your lazy ass and become one. Put up with the criminals the harassment, the difficulties of the job. Watch the sledge of the earth get away with their crimes against society. I know it is easier for the weak to Monday morning quarterback it from the safety of your computer chair. Let's all face reality, unfortunately bad cops are out there, but unless you get directly involved, you are just part of the problem.

Profanity or naughty gestures are not against the law, for police to enforce it as such is a crime. I myself have been charged with "prowling the night time" for doing just such a thing, a cruiser arriving and then calling for backup just to make utterly false statements against me. I took videotape of the scene that clearly disproved their claims, but the prosecutor, public defender, and judge were in cahoots as well. It's no conspiracy, just a gang of crude lawbreakers that have no business working for the justice department.

I disagree with Jerry Nunes for several reasons:
1
This is usually the result of anarchy
. This statement has no grounds, you dont explain why anarchy is (i rekon is because you dont really know) and classify all of the victims of the videos as anarchists.

2
a very bad mouth
. Is this kinder-garden? A very bad mouth is a right and a privilege all people have and sometimes politicians give it a catchy phrase like "freedom of speech"

3
But mostly it’s resisting and profanity against the arresting officers
Mostly, profanity and resisting arresting officers happens when arresting officers arrest you for no reason. And this happens mostly because as you say (and this is the only thing i agree with Jerry) they are humans, arrogant, adrenaline pumped humans who, after 8 hours of boredom and having watched Samuel L Jackson in SWAT the night before, believe they are in a film and act like such.

Respect for a police officer should be the same as any other person who comes up in the street and talks to you, and it is only given when they show some to you. They are doing a job, and a job faced to the public, maybe they should have some basic morale and manners training...

This is usually the result of anarchy. Resisting arrest and a very bad mouth. Like the people in cars running from police--even for minor traffic violations. If they would just coorperate most of this stuff would not happen. And police officers are only human, there are some bad ones. But mostly it's resisting and profanity against the arresting officers.

That is a good point. I hadn't really noticed that before, but it lends credence to my theory that this sort of behavior is more of the norm than police would have us believe.

ouf, it seems these happen quite often with some departments... Just check the reaction of the cops standing nearby, nothing... They are used to things like this.
