A 13 year old in Ohio is the Al Capone of kids. He’s been charged with 128 crimes including witness intimidation!
Now, with this kind of record, and at this age, nothing could make me believe this kid will ever turn his life around. In ancient societies he would have been executed long ago but in our kindler, gentler more “civilized” society he’ll be allowed to continue to prey on innocents until he’s at least 15 or 16.
Anyway, the greatest quote from the video comes from Beverly Hills psychologist Dr. Carole Lieberman who says:
If Andrew were to get intensive treatment including psychotheraphy and medication he could be saved, but realistically I don’t think that will happen.
This kid is going to jail, and then he’s going to hell.

emmm i don’t really think this kids future is completely ruined. The reason he steals is because his parents can’t afford it and he has a big desire to own that thing, which at this age he can’t really control. To me, this proves that this kid will do the impossible to get what he wants and at age 13 he can’t buy those things by himself. Now the question is, how smart is this kid? If he’s smart + tough, one day he will realise whats going on and then he’ll have a very bright future as those are the qualities of the best businessman/politicians/lawyers…, if he’s dumb, then he will certainly end in jail…
All around parts of the Third World, there are boys this old who carry AK-74’s and kill according to their master’s dictates. A great deal of the rebel “armies” in nations like Sierra Leone, Liberia, Sudan, Angola et. al. are comprised of boys as young or younger than Andrew above. A lot of girls too.
That barely registers a ruffle in the news.
Yet, a 13 yo from a civilised nation makes news for committing a string of relatively small-time crimes by comparison.
Anyhow, Andrew is a lost cause and probably should get used to the view behind bars - because jail entrenches criminal tendencies and it’ll be an endless cycle for him.
The Mom was classic in the video. Nice gun on the shirt. I wonder what it was like for that child to grow up where he did. Must have been horrible for him to turn into such a monster.
Dr. Carole offers great insight. “Going to Jail, then Hell”. Nice. Seems like she has a very optimistic view on this boys future.
Peter, thats the same way I thought. In underdeveloped countries or third world countries, this is not something uncommon, but the difference is that in third world countries, families are much closer, they have very tight knit communities which eventually straighten the mind of the kid. Also the punishment is different, the first time might end up with a warning, the second time you can kiss your hands goodbye! Therefore although I agree he has a high probability of ending up in jail, I just find it quite absurd of what the psychologist had to say. I think a good way of “fixing” this kid would be to sign him up in a third world country school…
The other option is to do what this lady did… drop the kid off for two years to live with monks in Cambodia.

Thanks John, that was an interesting article. Unfortunately, the mother in this case doesn’t seem to be interested in the kids future which is really sad…
This is not really a mother, coz she showed to affection to the child.
So thats an interesting article showing things we dont think that it exists
