Yea, I like having an aka that’s so appropriate. I got the aka during an radio interview. They saw the connection I have with the saw and tagged me. I love the art form and am blessed to make my livelihood as an artist. It has taken many years to get where I am now but when you find something you truly love to do you stick with it. Chainsaw Jack
When I first saw a carving burned with the torch I thought the same thing. He’s going to destroy it! Using the torch, especially at night, is always a crowd pleaser. Chainsaw Jack
Thanks for stopping by Chainsaw Jack! You know, if someone would call me Blowtorch John then maybe we could collaborate and build a kick ass piece of art! We could fabricate a massive steel frame intertwined with chainsaw carvings! Damn, we could get chainsaws, plasma torches, and welding machines all going at the same time! Nothing could top that.
John, I have entered one welding competition and my team took 2nd place. The other teams were composed of welding instructors from all over the country. There’s a pic on my about the artist page.
