Very cool video. I tried bust a name awhile back and found it a bit confusing. Ended up just utilizing this http://www.eleganceindesign.com/domains.html

Great video though.

Very cool site, I love how they send you straight to different registrars if you find something you like, I have always used mydomain and I was pleased to see them listed too...

I thought what a great way to try to find available 3 character domains, So I put in a b c d and so on...

A nice long list of domains popped up, and I saw ADO.COM was listed as available, my heart skipped a beat or 3 while I waited for my WAY too slow Internet connection to load up my regular registrar to check this. Of course the domain was not available that would have been way too cool :)

So I guess they have a few bugs to iron out still at Bust a Name...

Still a very cool and unique system, so I bookmarked it for next time I want to buy a domain.

The trend these days seems to be to take a word you wanted for your domain, drop a letter (like the "e" in flicker - to get "flickr") - or just phonetically describe a noise that's tangent to the activity which will occur on the site. For example, twitter is perfect for describing the action of giving brief updates to your friend...

Once you've got the domain, on to the logo: bubbly and glassy. We-la - Web 2.0 branding. Now you just need to build a web ap (yes, the simple part...)

Yousaf,

I checked out your site, but unfortunatly I can't play the videos on either my cell or laptop. :-( Drop me an e-mail and we can discuss the matter in a little more detail if you like.
