How Marbles Are Made
by John P.
Very cool, er actually, HOT video showing how marbles are made.
The video demonstrates both the automated and manual methods of making these exceptionally round little beads of glass.
It makes it very easy to see why you have to a pro at this in order to get it right.

Wow. That looks so pretty.
Marbles are so pretty :)
Well, thats something interesting to watch.
Never shown on TV as far as I know.
Good Work :)
I saw this on John Ratzenberger’s (you know, Cliff Claven) show. Marble King is a company in West Virginia that has made marbles for many years. They make them for use inside paint cans, for industrial use on different machines, and just for fun.
Some marbles they have made are now worth $5000 US each. Very interesting show.
We had glass blowing in my high school, I didn’t take it but I did take ceramics. Anyways, I got to watch the glass blowers make paper weights and vases. It was pretty neat and hot work, I’d sure burn my arm up if I tried..lol
