Japanese Man Trains Synchronized Swimming Goldfish
by John P.
Ok, this seems truly unbelievable – as in, I’m not sure I believe it. But if it’s a fake I can’t detect it either! A Japanese guy has trained 4 goldfish to do synchronized swimming!
Yeah, I know it sounds impossible, but you have to see this! He motions with his hands and the fish do whatever he instructs even including splitting off into pairs and going in opposite directions. Unbelievable.

The fish make a few mistakes along the way which gives me the idea it’s for real. It doesn’t look animated.
Yea, i watched this video somewhere else, months ago. But i still remember someone commenting that the trick is “inside” the goldfishes! Yea, he was claiming that this little fishes has either magnets or something magnetizable in their bellies, so that when the hidden magnet moves, they move at the same time too…
I don’t know, sounds logical at least more than believing that they can be trained like this!
Hell that makes sense to me, consider this… look how low the water level is in the video. Now that would be necessary if youre using magnets to control the fish, if the water is too deep you cant use the magnets because there would be too much distance between the fish and the magnets. Ahh, kills the magic for me. But i like thinking I know anyway.
