Today is definitely a different age with Spongebob, etc. I wouldn't say things are different at all, since we had uneducational tv in my day, but it did seem a LOT less riddled with ads and marketing =/ That said, this morning, my daughter sat on my lap and we watched the "How A Bill Becomes A Law" together. Since she was on her way to the bus afterwards, it was rewarding to see her tell all her friends about the vid because it also had a bus :o So thanks :) The kids still like Sesame Street, but it's become less about sesame street and more about Elmo I think. I was asking if my daughter knew who Cookie Monster was and she replied, "Yeah, he's a character on the Elmo show". I figured that was close enough :) John, thanks for posting these :)
