GeorgieGirl,

Well, it took me hours to find them all, but I thought it was worth it because I also enjoyed them as a kid. I believe you can also buy them on DVD now if you want to have a permanent copy, so try Amazon if that is the case.

Take care,

I just love Schoolhouse Rock - it reminds me of all those Saturday mornings with my brothers watching cartoons! And what a cool way to embed knowledge in a child's brain, you know? :)

John, thanks for posting these :)

My daughter's in first grade and as she's gotten older you try to find the things you felt influential in your youth to help pass on.

Today is definitely a different age with Spongebob, etc. I wouldn't say things are different at all, since we had uneducational tv in my day, but it did seem a LOT less riddled with ads and marketing =/

That said, this morning, my daughter sat on my lap and we watched the "How A Bill Becomes A Law" together. Since she was on her way to the bus afterwards, it was rewarding to see her tell all her friends about the vid because it also had a bus :o So thanks :)

The kids still like Sesame Street, but it's become less about sesame street and more about Elmo I think. I was asking if my daughter knew who Cookie Monster was and she replied, "Yeah, he's a character on the Elmo show".

I figured that was close enough :)

Actually today YouTube has problems. Every video they are serving is slow and their site is also running extremely slow. I don't know what the problem is.

Wow, that took up a lot of time. Especially on a day when my connection isn't feeling at its best. Nice ones.... whatever bits I saw.
