Joust – The Arcade Classic

by John P.

Joust Classic Arcade GameWithout a doubt Joust is my favorite arcade game of all time. I can’t explain why, it just is. So now it is immortalized here on the blog so I can come back and waste countless hours any time I want to!

Oh, and you guys can feel free to play it as well, because I like to share. That’s the kind of guy I am.

The only problem is that on my computer the quality of the game is strange because it’s like every other line of graphics is missing. It’s still playable, but hopefully this doesn’t affect everyone.

To control the game use the right and left arrows to change directions, and the CTRL key flaps. If you have the Google Desktop installed you may have to disable the CTRL shortcut key to play this game. If you hit CTRL twice and it pops up the just select options and tell it to stop.

Have fun! And here is a link to the other Classic Arcade Games I’m posting.

Joust is a good one. I see the same strange every-other-line-missing problem as you do. Still pretty fun though!

I’ve got just a couple more games coming up, but I’m getting a little bored with them so will likely be moving on to other topics pretty soon. Perhaps then you’ll be able to get some work done! ;-)

Same here Tom. I’ve been much more addicted to Asteroids lately. Don’t know why…

Ok Rhoody. I’ll try to post them occasionally, though finding good ones really seems to take a lot of time. There are a lot of games out there that I just don’t find interesting. However, I do have at least 3 games scheduled to go live in the coming weeks, so keep an eye out for them. :-)
