		<description>I thought the article about encryption in the UK was interesting. It reports that there would be a penalty, possibly jail, for refusing to decrypt something. Some would be alarmed and the article acts as if all big banks will be handing over encryption keys to the government. The intent and likely application will be individual cases where the government does a lawful search which would decrypting data for a specific case. It sounds like reasonable powers that needs to be monitored for abuse.</description>
