Microsoft’s Greatest Hidden Options

by John P.

Ok. You know how Microsoft seems like it always crashes at the most inopportune moments possible? Well frankly, it’s all your fault. What you need to do is type the following command: Hold ALT, CTRL, CAPS LOCK, and TAB while simultaneously pressing F8, HOME, ARROW DOWN, and ENTER.

This will bring up the following dialog box. Examine closely to adjust your systems preferences.

I can almost get all those keys down except the down arrow. Perhaps with a pencil in my mouth, I can get it. This does work with Vista Service Pack 4 doesn’t it? :-)

I managed to do it. The left hand was easy. With the right hand: thumb to down, pinky to home, index to enter, and middle to F8.

Nothing came up. The Man lies!

I’m surprised that you only need 8 button presses for this little gem.

I only need 4 fingers, because of the size of them… a few years ago I needed one hand and my notebook crashed … against the wall, but I calmed down a lot

cheers

I tried to press all those buttons, but I could not. Seriously, is that for real?

Now this is brilliant. hahaha. Will share this link with my mates. And no it does not exist, it was created out of frustration. This will make for an awesome viral anti-microsoft campaign.
