Seriously, you gotta see this (about 5 times) to believe it. I’m not sure I’ve ever even seen a professional make a goal this awesome, but I know for sure I’ve never seen a kid do anything this cool.
9 year old Max Gerlach was competing during the intermission at a Dallas Stars hockey game when he pulled off this incredible shot. It was so great it made the ESPN highlights as the second best shot of the day (yeah, including the actual pro games)!

That is extremely impressive! One can only wonder if more training and teaching will make him better or worse. Have you ever wondered whether players can get worse after enduring the regimented gauntlet of youth sports?
WOW!!!! i wonder how that kid will play after 10 years…
Wow, that’s smooth stick handling. Look at the delicacy of swooping up and balancing the puck!
Is that Wayne Gretzkys’ kid?
NICE!
Have you seen the autistic kid who shot that last minute WTF 3-pointer? You have to love those impossible shots by kids :)
That is not real… man that must be a gen mix of some guys…

If that was the number 2 shot of the day then what was number 1???!?!?!!?!?
That is a sick move remnant of the Michigan Wolverines game with the magic wraparound.
However, a gimmick is different from talent. I have no idea if this kid is the next Lemiux, which he could very well be, but some people are just good at certain things. Streetball is one example. I hope he works hard and makes it though. Hockey is coming back. Did anyone see Crosby on new years day?
this is an “old” move, yes… but to be able to do it under pressure, on command, at his age, and score… that’s awesome!
