This toy is ridiculous. It’s like taking the Furby entirely to the next level.
I was at Sam’s Club (the warehouse equivalent of Wal-Mart) when I came across this miniature robotic pony, and I whipped out my cell phone and took the attached video.
I can’t believe these things even exist, and it just shows how close we are to having little robots walking around playing with our kids.
Oh my gosh! I heard about those things last year, and all the frenzy they were causing – but, I never saw one in action until now! I would have totally, completely fallen in love with that thing as a little girl – I mean totally!
It’s weird, when you’re watching it – a part of you almost forgets it’s a robot. Or maybe I’ve just got a touch of the ‘robot romance bug’, after having just watched “I, Robot” again the other day! Ha!
Fake Tanks, Real Pain!
If my brother and I had these as kids we’d have worn them out in no time.
The Shocking Tanks are remote controlled vehicles that can actually shoot at one another, and when one is hit the remote control delivers a mild (or not so mild, depending on the settings) shock to the operator.

Cube World, for your Cube… World?
Who comes up with these things? These little somewhat sentient stick figures interact with one another when you places their cubes together.
Apparently they can even roam from one cube to another when you stack them all up. Here is a description from the site:

w00t! You found a robot I haven’t seen! :) Looks good, too bad it can’t walk with the kid on its back. We’ll give it a few more years.

(Your Amazon link is messed up.)
Can it actually walk too? or just move it’s head and tail in response to being petted and “fed”? Pretty interesting.
For $250 it better do more than that =P
Nope. It can’t walk at all. :-) Just sit there and move around in response to being touched or sat on!
John
shame on you for shopping at Sam’s Club ;-)
Yes, and double shame on me for also shopping at Costco! :-)
