This toy is ridiculous. It’s like taking the Furby entirely to the next level.
I was at Sam’s Club (the warehouse equivalent of Wal-Mart) when I came across this miniature robotic pony, and I whipped out my cell phone and took the attached video.
I can’t believe these things even exist, and it just shows how close we are to having little robots walking around playing with our kids.
I use the "No Adverts for Friends" plugin by Donncha O Caoimh
w00t! You found a robot I haven’t seen!
Looks good, too bad it can’t walk with the kid on its back. We’ll give it a few more years.
Oh my gosh! I heard about those things last year, and all the frenzy they were causing - but, I never saw one in action until now! I would have totally, completely fallen in love with that thing as a little girl - I mean totally!
It’s weird, when you’re watching it - a part of you almost forgets it’s a robot. Or maybe I’ve just got a touch of the ‘robot romance bug’, after having just watched “I, Robot” again the other day! Ha!
(Your Amazon link is messed up.)
Can it actually walk too? or just move it’s head and tail in response to being petted and “fed”? Pretty interesting.
For $250 it better do more than that =P
Nope. It can’t walk at all.
Just sit there and move around in response to being touched or sat on!
John
shame on you for shopping at Sam’s Club
Yes, and double shame on me for also shopping at Costco!
