An anonymous reader sent me a link to this first video, and it was pretty funny. As usual I latched on to the theme and entertained myself for hours with silly videos of people wiping out on the dance floor. So I present for your amusement the best of the dancing mishap videos I came across. If anyone has more to add please drop a link in the comments.
Oh, and I didn’t put up videos where people actually got seriously injured or died. Yes, I came across at least 2 fatal dancing injuries. How’d you like to have that on your headstone?

Finally, this guy had a nasty spill on a dancing show in the UK I’m guessing. I can’t even bear to watch this one…
I definitely like the “why white people shouldn’t dance” video. That is some funny stuff! I’m thinking that at least 95% of those incidents involved alcohol. Ah, what fun we can have with a bit of horrible judgment imbalance.
Fatal dance mishaps, jeez – there are many ways to go but seriously that would be one of the bad ones. I am not much of a dancer myself, I would probably create a 5.5 earthquake if I started jumping around so I kind of sit quietly in the corner sipping beer :)

I was actually working on an Open Air show with him in Munich, when a kind of showbridge under the roof of his monster-stage colapsed while he was dancing on it… reading the post above… maybe it was the Dane in his Michael Jackson-costume…

One thing I miss about the mid west are those great polkas at weddings where somebody’s mom always spins out of control and makes for good video.
And the last guy’s video wasn’t too hard too take until he violated my favorite math pet peeve. LISTEN YOU STUPID DANCER, YOU CAN’T GIVE MORE THAN 100% EFFORT! 100% MEANS ABSOLUTELY ALL, THERE AIN’T NO MO!!!

Well , at least the pole dancing girl did not feel a thing when she did a face plant on the floor! Whap…out cold.
Ouch that last one looked like it hurt!
These can be very dangerous.Such things happen,but nobody likes to walk out of dance show without his teeth.
