The kids and I have watched a TV show about this – I imagine, it was on Animal Planet. It is truly amazing! And I’m sure, for the residents, a pain in the tuckus! I bet they get sick of hearing people talk about how cool it is! Ha!

That seems like it’s straight out of a horror movie. Attack of the killer crabs! In any case, it’s amazing to watch, but I would think that’d be horrible to have to deal with every year. I get annoyed enough with the ant horde when it rains (and they’re not as numerous or as large as the crabs).

That was quite interesting. I would image that I would try to tip toe through with killing any but that looks too be an impossible task. You inspired me to look for other massive animal movement, of course I found locust swarms and what I find interesting was they note that swarms happen every 14 years. I like to look at the symbolism of numbers like that and there are years of jubilee every seven years and two is the number of witness. But how do these locust keep track of 14 years??
