I remember I once read about Dean Kamen's Segway back when it was still called "IT" (waaaay back in the day). One of the most interesting things about Kamen's research in movement is that walking by itself is actually just a "controlled fall". We are continually falling over, and re-supporting ourselves with our other foot. Taking movement out of context like that and really examining the basics are kinda neat.. but that guy is insane =P It’s funny watching people move in general.
