If Steve left a little more thickness, what else could have he supplied in terms of speed, storage, etc. I appreciate their not competing on price but what if they launched a second brand that competed with HP and other PC clones on price but with the Mac OS but without some of the things that drive up the price of Apple products. Make it run my Windows software and compete on price and I will consider Macs as I am considering Linux systems now. Thin has a diminishing return, thin enough is probably around Sony’s size.
