I always like the natures shows where people are walking around on the lava fields. I keep thinking they will step through some thin crust into the lava. I guess I walked around on too much ice covered snow in my arctic youth.

Guess what I am from hawaii :) well i live on both places Iowa and hawaii (Maui). Here in Maui we don’t have any active volcanoes I guess thats why we only have romantic people around where Oahu , Honolulu etc places have all sort of tourists :)

In an old Geology course, we got to see a lot of videos like this and it was always so amazing that you’re literally watching ROCK act like a liquid in its molten state.
