How to Park Your Camel

by John P.

I don’t care if you’re a card carrying member of PETA, this is funny…

Camel with One Leg Tied Up

By the way, couldn’t they have let the camel lay down before they tied his leg up? Jeesh… give the poor guy a break!

Hi John, you sure know how to make us laugh. This is brilliant. Wonder how many days they can stand on one leg for.

You’re always good for a laugh John.

I believe they’re still able to lie down, since to do so, they generally get down on their front knees first. I don’t see this as being a problem while in “park”.

Perhaps you could monitor this for us and report back. ;)

This is quite clever. I’m sure camels don’t mind resting on 3 legs after walking across the desert.

I think it’s kinda lame. (No pun intended.) And no, I don’t have a PETA card, I swear! I just think it’s kinda rotten. When I’m tired, I don’t wanna stand around on one foot, yk? LOL!

I mean, it’s kinda funny, sure – I admit that. But I don’t like it.

The sand is too hot. If the ambient air temp is 120 degrees, the sand can be upwards of 160. Camels only lie down at night.

Actually there is no need to tie its leg.I had a camel ride last month. It just sits down & is sensible enough not go anywhere.

These camels are hobbled so they won’t wander off too far unattended. They can get a long just fine on three legs and it doesn’t bother them much once they’re used to it.
