What happens at the 7 minute mark is one of the Go-Go-s (trying to be Pat Benatar) raps (actually hip hops) her way into a Thriller-like music video and comes off Madonna-like. Wasn’t that obvious.

BTW, this isn’t an ad, it’s a hype video they’ve play at a MS developer’s conference. If you have memories of what life was like before cutting and pasting, this is actually pretty cool stuff.

That has got to be some of the funniest stuff I have ever seen! I don’t remember a version of Windows older than 3.1, but interestingly enough, I do remember that song she busts out with at the 7:00 mark. Can’t remember where I’ve heard, but I’ve heard it before. What will Microsoft do for entertainment when Bill Gates has completely stepped down in next month or so?

You’re right, that WAS pretty bad, but the nerdy side of me found the historical perspective very interesting. The funny thing is, I don’t remember ever even HEARING about Windows/386. I must have skipped a version or two along the way. ;)
