Its a innovative research btw is it universally available or is it in testing phase only.here i might add that there is a test going on with the US navy wherein they are testing artificial blood. This blood comes in a powder form just like a babies milk powder and when mixed with saline water it turns into blood. If successful this will eliminate the patients to wait for blood donors becz there is always shortage of blood in a country like INDIA and many other countries. This will also help the armed forces becz they can just carry a pack with them and if needed at some remote place they can be trained to get the blood in there system to keep them alive
cheers

Is checking blood type quite a time consuming procedure? Its just what happens if the machine breaks and starts spitting out the wrong blood on the other end? Or can they carry out the checks as they go?
