This is awesome! I bet you read the title of this post and expected to see some guy from the NBA pull a Michael Jordan and deliver a 10 foot dunk or something. Wrong! It’s a Japanese guy!
Now, I can’t be sure, but I swear this guy is one of the regular contestants on the Ninja Warrior show I watch all the time. If I recall, I think he’s even a Gold medal Olympian gymnast or something.
Anyway he takes about a 20 foot dive off of a freaking trampoline and as he goes hurdling head first towards the basketball hoop he actually slams one home! Of course, the landing doesn’t look very comfortable to me… but I guess it was worth it.
That was totally awesome!! You had me cringing to see the landing – but, it didn’t look too bad. I just kept thinking, ‘ok, I’m catapulting myself forward hard and fast towards a backboard with a steel rim…this doesn’t sound good’ – he handled it pretty darn well, though! I’d probably have the rim on as a new pair of braces or something! LMAO!!
great performance. For that distance the landing is a kind of ok. I would make a hole in the ground falling from that hight…
