The Wizard of Speed and Time is a 1989 low-budget feature film written, directed, and starring animator Mike Jittlov, as well as a 1979 16 mm short film, also by Jittlov.

This is a great little short of the film which lasts about 5 minutes and which was eventually turned into the actual full length version. For it’s day the special effects were very impressive, especially given the fact that it was almost entirely created by one guy without the help of any major studio.

The very ironic thing about the full length version of the movie is that it is about a guy who is trying to produce a movie but who is getting messed around by other people in the film industry – while in real life, one of the other people working on this movie with him was actually selling the rights to the film without his knowledge or consent!
