Who is Sarah Palin? Well, in addition to being the presumptive Vice Presidential candidate for John McCain’s Presidential run in 2008, and the Governor of Alaska, she’s a hottie.
Palin attended Wasilla High School in Wasilla, Alaska, where she was the head of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes chapter at the school and the point guard and captain of the school’s basketball team. She helped the team win the Alaska small-school basketball championship in 1982, hitting a critical free throw in the last seconds of the game, despite having an ankle stress fracture at the time. She earned the nickname “Sarah Barracuda” because of her intense play and was the leader of team prayer before games.
In 1984, Palin won the Miss Wasilla beauty contest, then finished second in the Miss Alaska pageant, at which she won a college scholarship. In the Wasilla pageant, she played the flute and won “Miss Congeniality.”
Palin holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Idaho, where she also minored in political science. She married Todd Palin, her boyfriend since high school, on August 29, 1988. She then briefly worked as a sports reporter for local Anchorage television stations while also working as a commercial fisherwoman with her husband.

Why do you care that a fairly tame photo of her in a mini-skirt got posted. its not like she’s getting it from behind from a lesbian with a strap on – hey hold on? That would be fine as well – why should any matter of sex or sexuality be deemed as bad in any way – photoshopped or not – if that was a campaign poster she’d get my vote. And as far as it being a fake – MAYBE she has a svelt swan like neck – this was once considered an attractive detail.
A Warning for Barack Obama. You are going to have to watch your emotional sense of Sarah Palin. People like her, conservatives, are just following rules in their consideration for others. They are rules as in a competition or sporting event, rules that must be obeyed and that derive from fear of judgment from authority, not from any real empathy for the pain and suffering of others. For all conservatives have had their natural emotions wiped from their psyches and replaced by fear of punishment for disobeying rules, fear and guilt inculcated as “conscience” by fear of punishment at a young age. Rather than caring about people as I know you do, Barack, out of genuine empathy, they care about how they are seen and judged in the way that they treat people. Much will be made about McCain and Palin’s attitudes toward people during Hurricane Gustav. There are limits as to how much you can thwart the perception of the electorate towards her and McCain’s sympathy for victims of the storm, for visible statements of concern and supporting deeds speak for themselves are hard to contradict in people’s minds whatever their motive. Reality is the unrehearsed response by conservatives to what happened during Hurricane Katrina. Counterbalance their kind act political theatre during this storm when all eyes are upon them as best you can within the limits of political reality. But you must not, yourself, not even for a moment, become emotionally connected toward Palin as a fellow caring individual in any way, for that misplaced identification of her with yourself would be emotionally fatal to the proper attitude you must have towards her no more than a player on the Bush, Rove, Limbaugh conservative gang that seeks four more years of power, four more years that will destroy us all. She is no more than the sheep’s clothing of the wolf, never more in your mind than an enemy of the people that must be defeated in her efforts to get McCain into the White House.

No. She doesn’t. And it doesn’t take lefty-fringe nutters to realize that no matter what party is your preference, there were literally thousands of people better equipped to take on the role of vice president when McCain made this choice. If I was the sort of conspiracy-theorizing nutjob that believes Obama is a secret Muslim mole, infiltrating our government, I’d believe that McCain was somehow blackmailed into making this choice to sabotage the Republican ticket. “Reckless” didn’t even begin to describe that choice. Next time you want to rant about how we seem to be these heartless, cruel, and corrupt our party is, perhaps take a look at your own members of your party instead of defending out of ignorance.
First of all, the comment was that she has more executive experience than Biden and Obama – not all three. Then, you must actually think about what executive experience means. It means that decisions made are “executed.” While congressional experience is good, it is almost always based on thorough review, consideration. That decision is then tempered by the votes of other members. Following that, there is the other body of Congress which considers it and decides (collectively) whether or not to proceed.
That is much different than making decisions, sometimes on the fly, with no one to take responsibility except yourself. Think about that.
