In your research and further documentation on the items in this letter I think you have confused facts about the “bridge to nowhere.” Your links are to the Knik Arm proposed bridge. The Bridge to Nowhere was the proposed bridge to Gravina Island from Ketchikan. It actually was not such a bad idea. They claim only 50 residents on the island, but Ketchikan’s airport is on Gravina Island. There is no way to get to Ketchikan excpet by air or boat, and if you choose air, you still have to use the ferry. The bridge would have been good for Ketchikan. Now whether our tax dollars should pay for it is another issue.

One thing is for sure, you know where Sarah stands. Though I agree with qite a bit of what Sarah has said and done. I cannot say that about the other party’s views.
I feel Obama’s ticket is great motivational speaking. I’d rather have a “right wing fanatic bigot” as said above, then a cheerleader.

Do we really want a right wing fanatic bigot to be vicepresident of the USA? With a 1/3 chance of becoming president ? Not that she would be able to do anything in that position unless it turned this country into a police state, quite possible….

Would an 86% approval rate (where, BTW?) simply imply that there are at least that many morons wherever they approve ?

There is so much ignorance and incompetence that just about nobody sees the similarity between radical Islam and evangelical Christians. Go learn some history…

Thanks, Mark Konen (above) for providing another view from someone who does not have an obvious axe to grind. Anne K admits to being basically enemies with Palin since 1996 and, like the press, she also is subject to her own biases and will report her views through her own lense. It is possible to find dirt on anyone and by reporting one view of arguments you can make someone look really bad, which is what politicians on both parties are good at doing. This is no different.

C’mon, John. Don’t pass this off as if it were just unbiased. It is not a simple listing of facts, but the pejorative rhetoric describing Palin and her actions – none of which I have any basis to endorse, defend or deny – tells anyone with a brain that Anne Kilkenny has an axe to grind.

People with axes to grind, while they may or may not have a point, are most often ignored. Unless the listener also would like to grind that same axe. Then reason is ignored.

Printing this letter doesn’t surprise or shock me, but I am a bit astounded that you endorse it in your introduction and seem to imply that it is very well documented – some things are, many aren’t and some documentation is left to imply what is not documented as if it were.
