So, after a stressful last few days of watching the stock market, I thought it might be fun to take a look at something really, really stressful. Like how about trying to land an airplane on an aircraft carrier!
So, the next time you’re feeling like you’re having a tough day, just remember what it would be like to try and spot a boat in the middle of the Pacific and then maneuver your tiny little plane to land on it while it’s in motion.
The video didn’t make it look too stressful, but from all the tv shows I have seen, I can believe it is tougher than it looks on the video. Seriously don’t want to over do the caffeine.
I can’t imagine landing a plan on a regular runway, much less a carrier. I don’t see how those pilots can do it. And then throw in some bad weather, real combat, and not much sleep. It’s amazing any of them land safely.

They say you have to be 20 years old to learn that skill…. before you regard yourself as mortal.
This guy is doing a bit more than just landing – he’s holding full power (to get off , for another time around, in case something screws up)
