thanks for the hat tip to yeswecarve — people come up with the damnedest ideas. though really mccain is the true halloween candidate. i won’t call him a monster, but the man is scary as hell and doesn’t need a mask! though on second thought i surely wouldn’t want a mcpumpkin in my apartment.

I just wish I had the time on my hands to even attempt something like that. That takes serious skill and patience to get something that intricate done just right.

It took me a few moments to piece together the image as an actual pumpkin with lighting from the inside. The sign of a quality product is that the creation elements are not so visible, but that the final product is clear to the eye. The majority of the effort in an item such as this is the planning stage where portions of the final image have to be placed.

I’ve seen a few of these around the Web in the last week or so, but this one’s a winner … just beautiful.

I’ve now seen Obama & McCain pumpkins, but no VP candidates. No one’s been carving Palin or Biden?

I was going to try one of these three-color pumpkin carvings this year. I wimped out and made a simple one. Maybe next year for a cool one like this!

Now that was very interesting. Barack Obama really has campaigned himself excellently, I don’t see anything standing in the way of him being the next US President.
