Putting this on mainstream television would do well to proactively inform many viewers that items can be made to seem more genuine/technological/functional than they are by usage. An individual wearing a suit, who is surrounded by complex-looking instruments, can be used in a variety of advertising campaigns to promote real products to a higher level of assumed value. People who run into a word they don't understand quickly think that the person who used it may have more knowledge than themselves, and this is an angle of attack for marketers.

Wikipedia to the rescue:

Circa 1988 the former Chrysler Corporation "manufactured" the Turbocabulator in a video spoof. See external link in the bottom of this article.

Circa 1997 Rockwell Automation "manufactured" the renamed Retro-Encabulator in another video spoof. See external link in the bottom of this article.

Those are so funny and actually, remind me completely of a show that I am newly obsessed with, as of late. It is a SciFi Channel show, Eureka! They speak 'Greek' all the time!

Wow. I watched the first one and my thought process went from... is this a joke to what??? to wondering if that guy was a paid actor and if he had a clue as to what he was saying or of he was just making stuff up as he went. The 2nd description made it much clearer once he reminded me of my old high school days...I mean who could ever forget P=2.5C*6.7/N. Oh the good times of discussing that with the football team over CiCi's pizza.

At first I was feeling very stupid, but then as I continued to watch I figured it all out:

These must have been created as part of a test conducted to determine how many complex, incomprehensible words must be uttered in sequence in order to guarantee the viewer a severe migraine headache.

Then I took 3 Advil, laughed for a bit while watching the second video repeat the same words but at a slower, easier to look up pace.
