I have trouble with this. Despite the judge saying that her sentence "in no way was a reflection of his previous cases" I find it a little hard to believe.
The sentence seems severe given the crime.

He was supposed to be sentenced only for the crime he was convinced up, not the murders that (rightly or wrongly) the law considers him innocent in.
Does anyone REALLY think this is what happened here?

We can thank the Goldman's persistence on this one. If they hadn't kept pressuring The Juice, he would have been able to go to the police to request their assistance in getting his "personal property" back but then the Goldman's would have received the value of the goods. So he had to get his stuff outside the law. Let's see if O.J. spends more time than he did in the NFL, what's the over-under on 11 years?

At least they finally put him in jail for something, but it should have been done 10 or so years ago, after he wasted millions of dollars of taxpayers' money and resources..not to mention killing people, leading police on a high speed chase, etc.

This is simply unbelievable. I'm surprised he was finally convicted of something. Craziness.
