Folks, just until the end of the day tomorrow (Valentine’s Day… you DID remember, didn’t you?) Amazon is giving away Marvin Gaye’s Let’s Get it On for free. Yep. I tried it myself, and it worked. So feel free to follow this banner link to get it.
But you really need to do it within the next 36 hours or the jig is up. It took me literally about 10 seconds to download the song and I’m listening to it right now.
This text link should also work for people with ad blocking turned on.

hate to point this out, but you say to follow a banner link on the post to the song. there is not, however, a banner link in the post.
Just playing Mr Obvious here…
turn off your ad block :)
Ok. I also just put in a text link which I hope works for people too. They only sent me the banner link to include on the Web site, so let me know if the text link doesn’t work and I’ll see if I can find another way.

“We could not process your order. The sale of MP3 Downloads is currently available only to US customers located in the 48 contiguous states, Alaska, Hawaii, and the District of Columbia.” Too bad :(
Oh that sucks!
Sorry for our friends across the pond. :-( I guess Amazon is only interested in helping the Americans “Get it On!”.
hehehe

John what speed internet do you have, 10 seconds download of a 512kb is not much?
I have a 10 Mbps cable modem connection. I suppose that is much faster than most of the world, but there are people in the Dallas area who have 50 Mbps connections at home. So it’s only moderately fast here. ;-)
A 512kb download happens in the blink of an eye. The song here was about 9 MB and it only took seconds to download.
