Extreme Sheep Herding! What? Yeah, You Herd Me!

by John P.

Extreme Sheep Herding!Karen R. passed this little gem to me the other day, and she came into my office at work and was like… “you have to check out the extreme sheep herding!” I was like, “WTF?” But she was like, “just open the link I sent you.”

So, without having any idea of what the heck to expect, I blindly did as I was told, and was then rewarded for my faith with the following amazing video of… sheep herding. Enjoy!

And who would have thought that a high-tech company like Samsung would spend a boatload of money on sheep to promote LED technology. It’s a brave new world!

It looks great . But all that running is very stressing for the sheeps. I don’t think it’s good for them, they might get a heartattac and die.

It’s hard to believe that there is no videography/photography magic being applied here. For example, the Mona Lisa mosaic would be extremely difficult to do piece by piece. Also, when the sheep legs were walking in the first clip, the sheep would have had to pass through each other and back, and no dogs or shepherds were there to guide them. Maybe I am over-thinking this, but it seems like some editing magic must have been applied. Still, much of it was real and was pretty impressive.

LOL! I saw this one on the evening news and thought it was so great. The only thing to rival it might be that TransSiberian Orchestra “Christmas Lights” house display that was floating around YouTube for a while. Thanks for the post!
