I think “I am proud of you!” is definitely my most important word of the list. I try to say that to my son everyday, because I am so proud of him.
QUite small but very important words usually missed.
I think “and” it’s the 1st and in this days “michael” is the very 1st…
I agree
Is this in your opinion John or are these from a survey of some description? Please and Thank you are definately the most important words in the english language, and if they are not the most used, they should be. By the way I have just stumbled upon Johns blog and have a had a read through a few posts and the way it is set up. I like how the blog seems personal and its nice to see, hoping to stick around and get to know everyone.
Please and Thank You are the most important words / terms to me! Without them civilisation wouldn’t exist!
Great list! Another one is “Hello”
Lovely.. One of the best examples how few words can be really effective.
Whatever happened to “I love you“? Has this become one of those over-rated phrases in the english vocabulary?
I am fully with you on the 5, 2 and 1 most important word(s).
