Rube Goldberg Machine Video – Chaos in the Print Shop

by John P.

Here is an advertisement that is definitely doing it’s job! I’ve posted several videos of Rube Goldberg machines in the past, so take a look at them if you haven’t seen one. But the concept of a Rube Goldberg machine is that you build something extremely complex to do a simple job.

Well, the guys that made this video were hired to do it in order to create a viral video. They spent 4 days setting up a warehouse and then 180 hours setting up the contraption. Very worth it if you ask me! Enjoy.

Now, as you can imagine, setting all of this up was not the easiest thing in the world. Luckily they made a video to give us a behind the scenes look!

This ad is very similar to the Honda Accord Cog advertisement.

Do you know how many things I broke in my parents house trying to do things like that when I was a kid?! I guess you never lose that fascination. My experiments never seemed to work out that well ;)

I must admit this is quite funny. Once again your bog has continued to surprise and enlighten me. Brought back some memories and not just from when I was a kid. I like to think I have moved on to bigger and better machines but now that I think about it…Nah this is just right!
