Thieving Pigeon Steals a Bag of Chips! ON VIDEO!!!

by John P.

This is awesome! It’s probably as old as the Internet itself, but I have to share this little animated GIF that someone sent me.

I’m guessing that some tourist was filming a pigeon somewhere, because that is what tourists do the first time they see one, but this time they got way more than they bargained for when the pigeon actually walked into a convenience store, grabbed a bag of chips, and took off out the door!

All right, all right. It’s not a pigeon. It’s a seagull! But seagulls are just the pigeons of the sea! Either way, it’s just a flying rat. ;-)

Wow, John, that IS way old! Good thing we don’t rely on you for the latest, up to date information in order to survive. We’d all be screwed! ;-)

Hahaha, Cali! True, so true!

Funny thing is, they are sometimes old enough that we can laugh at them all over again – like this one! (In fact, I’ve got a couple videos in mind I’ve been thinking of posting about recently… ‘Great minds…’) hahaha!!

Great video! Although it’s actually called a Seagul which is much larger than a pigeon and is usually found by the sea.

That’s what makes it so devious: the pigeons dress like seagulls when they go to steal chips! Seagulls have been fighting against this kind of defamation for years. Fowl, fowl birds!

I remember seeing that video a while back. The pigeon is so nonchalant about! Just saunters into the store, casually picks up a bag of chips and waltzes out. Too funny!

I’ll stand up for you John. It’s rather presumptuous to call this a “SEAgul” it is simply a “Gull”. Seagul is just a nickname for those gulls that hangout around large bodies of water. But they’re really not so different from pigeons as far as I’m concerned. Rats with Wings ;)

Nice stuff but old. However I think the seagull is trained to do so.
