In continuation of our “Arcade Classics” theme week here on OMB, and by specific request from Lisa Marie, I bring you the classic Ms. Pacman!
This game is actually pretty good, though as I recall after you get past each 2 levels the maze used to change, and on this reproduction it doesn’t seem to. But everything else is pretty good so it’s definitely an amusing little time waster.

God only knows how many quarters the Donkey Kong game stole from me in my youth. But now we have the chance to play the original right here, for free, and with unlimited lives! This of course means that you’ll be able to waste an infinite amount of time, so prepare yourself.
Now, there are three things you need to know:
I’m also going to try to find more of these classic games and load them up here on OMB so that I can find them later when I want to play them, so keep an eye out.

Every once in a while I bring you guys an addictive little game to check out. In the past we’ve had the Amusing Little Helicopter Game and the utter time waster Bubble Wrap Game.
Well, now I’ve got one that I’ve wasted hours playing, so I’m going to share it with you guys to see how much cumulative productivity I can drain from your work days!

Who loves ya’ baby? Yeah, that’s right – The Man Does! So, being a fan of Casino games it’s only fitting that the first one I share would be the king of all casino games (in my opinion), Blackjack!
Not only can you play it right here (skip to it already), but I’m going to teach you how! (You did see my previous Gambling Tips, right?)

Here is a neat little party trick you can pull out next time you’re out to dinner with a group of friends or business associates that you’d like to have a little fun with…
All that is required are three glasses and three knives. Unless they’ve seen this before you’ll definitely have everyone stumped.

I happened to catch a little blurb on G-4 TV about a tiny free video game called Sumotori Dreams and decided to check it out. I’m really glad I did because it is highly amusing and I played it for about 30 minutes even though I’m not a big fan of video games.
The concept reminds me of a digital version of Rockem Sockem Robots. Basically you’ve got two blocky little sumo wrestlers and you start the match and just go at it.
The only catch is that these sumo wrestlers are so drunk they can hardly stand up! So, there is as much luck in winning a match as there is skill.

I previously posted about the famous Etch-A-Sketch artists, but at the time I had no idea that there is a virtual Etch-a-Sketch that anyone can use to practice online! But guess what… there is!
Head on over to the online Etch-a-Sketch and give it a whirl. It works exactly like a real one, which means you’ll be frustrated in no time.

Thanks to my neighbor Steve for sharing this awesome little Helicopter game! This is one of those fantastic little time wasters that is both incredibly simple, and also extremely fun.
It was originally released by the now defunct online magazine SeeThru, but they have been dead for a couple of years.
Anyway, the concept is simple. All you have to do is hold down the mouse button to go up, and release the mouse button to go down. Oh, and don’t hit anything..

Now here is something unique. A little game that allows you to hunt down insurgents in the streets of Iraq. The only catch is, you can’t win!
You see, it starts out with a few terrorists running around amidst the civilians in the streets of Iraq. You’ve got your finger on the trigger and you can hunt them down. If you manage to shoot one of them, fantastic! But if you hit any civilians in the process you’ll watch as their friends mourn them and then become terrorists themselves.

Yesterday’s post about the Annoy-a-tron brought back fond memories from long ago when I worked in an office where people actually liked one another and we all used to pull practical jokes.
In fact, we were very competitive about our pranks, with each of us attempting to out do the other. Here now is a list of the top pranks from the ‘good old days’.

A while back I blogged about a little electronic game my family enjoyed that you can pick up at Target, or a variety of other places for about $20. Well, I’m back to tell you that you don’t need to waste your money because you can also play the game online!
Just mosey on over to 20q.net and you can play everything from the classic “Animal, Vegetable or Mineral” version to TV, Movies, and Music editions.

While shopping at my local Costco today I happened to come across a PS3 sitting in the case with the cameras, iPods and other electronic goodies. At first I was a little taken aback, but I gathered my senses enough to ask a nearby employee if that was an actual PS3 for sale?
Well, as you can guess by the title of this post, it was, and I bought it. Apparantly it had just been put out a little earlier, and when I got home and opened it I see that it seems to have been previously opened, though its in perfect condition.
Now, I honestly have no use for a game console as I just don’t play them. But I find two things attractive about the PS3. First, it’s a cheap Blue-Ray disc player. Secondly, there is supposed to be a blazingly fast Folding@Home client which you can download and run on the machine when you’re not using it for something else.
