Things that are fantastic about this unit:

500 MPH Honda Private Jet Available Soon!

Honda JetFor the relatively minuscule price of $4,000,000, you’ll soon be able to park one of these babies in your personal driveway. Well, maybe if your drive way is about 1/4 of a mile long and has a hangar at the end of it. But that’s not the point… Honda is getting into the airplane business and they are doing it by launching the new HondaJet subsidiary.

Self Parking Cars

These are some of the first videos of intelligent parking systems in high end luxury cars. Now personally, being the master parker I am, I wouldn’t want to use them. But I must say it’s fascinating to watch the robots take over our world. :-)

Saturn Sky, Sex Machine

Saturn Sky FrontThis car is so damn cool, you really need James Brown to serenade you with Sex Machine while you read this Blog.

To start with, it’s almost impossible to pay more than $30k for this car, even in the most loaded version you can get. And that gets you a whole lotta car.

2006 Lotus Exige

Lotus ExigeHere’s a riddle: What’s cool? If you guessed the 2,000lb. 190 HP Lotus Exige… you’re right! This beast goes 0-60 in 4.7 seconds, corners like a go-cart and still manages 29MPG on the highway with it’s Toyota built engine.

Did I say Toyota? Yes, so pay attention. This means that purchasing an Exige is kind of like getting two cars in one. On one hand you get an official British Lotus supercar (think James Bond). On the other hand, you get your mom’s reliable Toyota.

Lexus, er… Toyota Avalon

Toyota AvalonWhen Toyota puts out a flagship vehicle like the Avalon, why would anyone need a Lexus? Don’t get me wrong, I’m a three time Infinity Q-45 owner. You don’t have to sell me on luxury and power. But when I bought my Q’s, these kind of options didn’t exist in “normal” line cars.

Ok. I’m going to give you that it isn’t that great looking, but it does 0-60mph in 6.4 seconds(!), gets 31MPG on the highway with a theoretical range of 571 miles on regular unleaded… and check out the stuff that comes in the Avalon:

All I Want for Christmas… Toyota Volta

Toyota Volta
Why does Toyota torment me like this? They build the coolest, most beautiful concept car on the planet and then refuse to manufacture it. Someone should be shot!

Seriously, I’d take the very first one of these to roll off an assembly line if they would just build it. And I MEAN that. Jim Press (President of Toyota North America), I’ll have your check waiting the moment you hand me the keys!
