Um. Wow. I don’t want to give anything away here before you watch the video, but suffice it to say that what comes out of the hole that these Canadians cut in the ice to go fishing is large… and surprising!

As a Texan, I simply can’t relate to this. I believe I would literally die of a heart attack if I were thrust into this situation.

I’m all for protecting the kids from seeing things they really shouldn’t be seeing, so I understand and agree with certain things not being shown on public television. But I also recognize that sometimes NOT getting shown on TV can actually be a huge benefit!

First of all, when marketers are free from the normal constraints of advertising sometimes they can come up with really “attractive” ads. And the ten banned commercials below are great examples of advertisements which obviously received excellent Return On Investment based on the sheer number of online views each one received. Indeed, these are the most popular of all banned commercials.

I don’t know about you, but I’d be happy to have one of my ads viewed as many times as the worst performing on this list…

This is a speech that Steve Jobs, the founder of Apple, gave at Stanford University in 2005 for the graduation commencement. (Thanks to Elie for sharing it with me.) In it, Steve recounts three personal stories in which he advocates following your heart and doing what you love.

I don’t care who you are, this is just plain worth watching! These girls demonstrate unbelievable athleticism with nothing more than a pole.

Yeah, the guys are going to love this for sure, because the women competing in the US Pole Dance Championship are smokin hot. But on top of that, if you watch what these ladies are doing you quickly realize they are actual athletes. I mean, they have to have been full blown gymnasts – and they are definitely strong enough to kick your ass!

I also took a few screen caps of the video below to stop the motion and you can see that seriously, only a gymnast could pull these moves off.

SEX SELLS! And Lady Gaga has apparently studied at the Lady Madonna university, did some graduate work at the Marilyn Monroe School of Fine Art, and then got her PHD in pole dancing! And apparently it’s paying off for her. The collection of 5 videos below have, as of this moment, been viewed a total of over 210 million times!

And why? Well, check out the 60 screen captures below and you’ll see! I was AMAZED by the rapid fire sexual imagery in each of the videos. Maybe I’m just old, but I’ve never seen so much stuff crammed into one video. Sexual situations of every kind conceivable. Yeah, I said it. But there is a lot of data to support this fact, and we’re going to run it down for you. Because everyone I know who considers themselves overweight also drinks diet drinks – as if they think this helps. Well, it doesn’t. It hurts! So stop drinking that crap! Here’s why…

According to an article on WebMD:

People who drink diet soft drinks don’t lose weight. In fact, they gain weight, a new study shows.

The findings come from eight years of data collected by Sharon P. Fowler, MPH, and colleagues at the University of Texas Health Science Center, San Antonio. Fowler reported the data at the annual meeting of the American Diabetes Association in San Diego.

“What didn’t surprise us was that total soft drink use was linked to overweight and obesity,” Fowler tells WebMD. “What was surprising was when we looked at people only drinking diet soft drinks, their risk of obesity was even higher.”

In fact, when the researchers took a closer look at their data, they found that nearly all the obesity risk from soft drinks came from diet sodas.

“There was a 41% increase in risk of being overweight for every can or bottle of diet soft drink a person consumes each day,” Fowler says.

I don’t know if you’ve ever experienced the hell of being trapped on an airplane against your will, but I have on numerous occasions. Years ago I was trapped in a plane in Boston for 6 hours. We were even at the gate, but they literally would not let us off the plane although it was after midnight and we would rather just stay the night there.

I’ve also been trapped for over two hours for a flight that was only scheduled for 40 minutes. And I can’t think of how many times there have been 1-2 hour delays where the airplanes sit on a hot Texas runway with little or no air conditioning going. With ALL passengers complaining – just to save a little fuel.

Well, the US Transportation Department says they can no longer hold passengers hostage on delayed planes for hours on end. Starting in April, there will be a three-hour limit for planes stuck on tarmacs. And I for one think this is an idea whose time has long since come. (Here is the official government document in PDF.)

Good lord. Don’t get your panties all up in a wad. I’m not making fun of Josh Blue. He doesn’t need my help with that!

For those of you who don’t know it, I guess Josh is the most popular comic of all time with Cerebral Palsy. And he’s living proof that all that whining and all those excuses people make about whatever they think is holding them back is complete BS!

I absolutely LOVE this guy. Not only is he funny as hell, but he plays for the men’s US Paralympic soccer team! And even if those guys did get their asses handed to them it doesn’t really matter since Josh took home the gold when he won season 4 of Last Comic Standing!

Yo. Terry G. (the G stands for Gangsta) hooked a brother up with a link to this hardcore rap video called Tea Partay. As soon as I filled my ear holes with the lyrical goodness I knew I had to share it with all my Bitches.

These videos were created as advertisements for Smirnoff, and after getting over 5 million views I’d have to say they did their job quite nicely! By the way, I’ll pay $10,000 to anyone who creates a Rap video for Woopra that goes viral like this! (100% serious!) :-)
