I came across one of the Schoolhouse Rock videos and was going to post it for old time’s sake, then I figured that everyone would have a different favorite, so I better post them all. That was also before I remembered how many of them there are!
Anyway, I wasted half the day gathering as many as I could find, so here they are - at least for as long as they last on YouTube. (I sure hope everyone is on a broadband connection!)

If you haven’t noticed, I love people who refuse to let their disability hold them back from doing something extraordinary. Bryan Gaynor is one such person.
Despite a little bout with Scoliosis, Bryan has become quite a dancer, having pretty much mastered one particular style - the Robot. He’s put his own little twist on it that he likes to call Chibotics.
Although he didn’t make it all the way on So You Think You Can Dance, he did make it far enough to entertain the heck out of a whole lot of people.
Here’s how…

I’ve seen a ton of videos out there that show officers giving someone the beat down during the commission of a crime, but that’s not what we’re talking about here. The following compilation of videos are, in my opinion examples of police going way beyond the limitations imposed by the laws of the United States.
Some people have argued that videos such as these may be terrible, but they are only an extremely small and not representative sample of police conduct in general. Well, forgive me for being skeptical, but I believe that for every one of these that actually gets caught on video there are probably hundreds that do not. In fact it has been my experience with police officers that they tend to selectively enforce laws as they deem suitable to their individual benefit at the time - even when they are inappropriate or flat our incorrect.

Since I bought a really nice camcorder a few weeks ago I’ve been preparing to produce and upload some videos in the near future. In the processes I needed to get up to speed on the use of video editing software, and I didn’t want to pay hundreds of bucks for professional training since I’m already pretty proficient at a wide variety of software.
So, as usual I did a search of the net and came across all of the following tutorial videos that teach how to create and edit movies. If you find any other high quality tutorials please drop a comment below and let me know as I’m trying to learn as much as possible right now.

Wow, Panoramas.dk is one of the greatest sites I’ve ever come across. It features a number of three dimensional panoramas which allow you to virtually look around a given space. This is a technology that can only flourish on the Web since you cannot move around inside a static photograph.
There are virtual reality panoramas of the Eiffel Tower, Carnival in Rio, a Camel Carts in Bikaner India, a human Zoo, an ariel view of Sydney Australia and even the Apollo Moon Landings.
The site can be a little difficult to navigate so I compiled the following list of several I enjoyed.

Last Christmas I got both a remote control helicopter and plane, and I’ve been practicing a lot. So when my buddy Bruce sent me one of these YouTube video clips I realized just how much more practice I need.
The following are some of the finest remote control pilots I’ve seen. I cannot express to you how much dexterity and concentration this takes, because these guys make it look much too easy.

I was doing some maintenence on the site today and going back through my old articles. Since I was amusing the heck out of myself I decided that I should make a little list of my favorite videos from past posts.
So, here are the ones that amused me the most from last year. Hopefully everyone will enjoy seeing them again as much as I did…

I’m not claiming these are world changing ideas, just that they are practical tips that I’ve used or advised others of recently. I hope you find at least a couple of them interesting, but more importantly I hope you’ll add to the list. We could all use some more practicality in our lives.

Lists are funny things. Often they are interesting enough to catch your attention, but without any real meat in them they aren’t enough to hold it. Take for example, The American Film Institute’s Top 100 Movie list. They actually published it on the Web without so much as a single link to external reference material!
Well, I wanted to check out the movies, and searched everywhere for a modified version of the list, but came up empty. So, I sat down and built one myself. After about 20 hours of adding 300 links, I now present the list in an actually useful format. I hope someone other than me gets some enjoyment from it too. ![]()

There is nothing to make you feel more pathetic than a kid that can kick your ass at something. And I’m not talking about the accidental “I win” in a game of soccer in the front yard. I’m talking about a good spanking from a kid who can make a professional adult look like an amateur.
Below are 10 exceptionally gifted kids who will put the hurt on you if you go up against them in each of their specialties. Enjoy.

People have accidents. That’s not what this post is about. People also do stupid, reckless things. But we’re not focusing on that now either.
This is about people that obviously lack the requisite skills to operate a motor vehicle - who were also unfortunate enough to have the evidence caught on film.
