Amazing Bike Stunts Care of Danny Macaskill

0

Danny MacaskillIn case I haven’t mentioned it. I want to be Danny Macaskill. I kid you not. This man is a complete bad ass on a bicycle. In fact, before I saw this video I thought most of this stuff was impossible. I wouldn’t even believe it now, except that I don’t think the state of computer generated graphics is quite as good as all this.

Anyway, check it out as Danny does some of the most wicked bike stunts you’ve ever seen. And of course if anyone has seen more like this let me know!

Damien Walters is an Acrobatic Savant

0

Damien WaltersI love to watch acrobats doing all sorts of amazing things, like Parkour and martial arts… but I’ve never seen one person bring so much together as Damien Walters. He is absolutely amazing!

This guy can jump in one spot and do crazy flips, he can run literally up walls, he can to high flying acrobatics – and when he’s done with all that, it looks like he could kick some serous ass. Now, that’s what I’M talking about! Let’s get it on!

0

the-rios-brothersNot sure how many of you have had the opportunity to see Cirque du Soliel performances (I posted a bunch of videos here) but they kick ass. Anyway, there are usually a couple of guys who do some amazing feats of strength, and it seems like there are a lot of these occasions where they are brothers.

Well, the videos below are not just fro Cirque, but they are of several groups of famous brothers who do things that are crazy, amazing, and unbelievable. Let me know if you’ve seen any others that should be added to the collection here.

Completely Insane Mexican Wrestlers!

0

Mexican WrestlingGood Lord! I’ve watched a LOT of wrestling in my days, but the junk we get here in the good old US of A just doesn’t compete with those crazy Mexicans who literally risk life and limb! One of these days I’ve got to get down to ol’ Mexico to watch a REAL wrestlin’ match!

Oh, by the way, my favorite is when the big guy is fighting the little guy, and the little guy is spinning around the big guy like he was the Tasmanian Devil from the cartoons. It’s muy fantastico! BTW, I wonder what the annual death toll is from Mexican wrestling? Cause it’s got to be HIGH!

Jumping into Jeans… Literally!

0

backflipping-into-jeansYou know, each morning when I wake up and go to get dressed I’m like, “Man, this whole getting dressed thing sure is boring. I wish there were a way to spice things up a bit!” Well, if you’re like me, have I got the answer for your daily hum-drums!

How about this? Next time you need to put your jeans on, have a couple of buddies hold them, climb up onto the second floor and jump down into them! Don’t worry about any potential bodily harm from this methodology… surely the pants will protect you!

Parkour – The Most Acrobatic Sport on Earth

0

parkour-daniel-ilabacaWhat is the easiest way to define Parkour? How about this. The world, is literally, your playground.

Now, Wikipedia defines Parkour as follows:

Parkour (sometimes also abbreviated to PK) or l’art du déplacement (English: the art of movement) is an activity with the aim of moving from one point to another as efficiently and quickly as possible, using principally the abilities of the human body. It is meant to help one overcome obstacles, which can be anything in the surrounding environment—from branches and rocks to rails and concrete walls—and can be practiced in both rural and urban areas. Parkour practitioners are referred to as traceurs, or traceuses for females.

It’s also known as Free Running, but if you really want to understand what it’s all about, you just have to see it in action.

North Korea Children’s Parade

0

korean-kids-paradeEven though Kim Jong Il is a horrible commie dictator (emphasis on the “dic” part), those damn little Korean kids can sure put on a show!

I still think the South Korean sports fans are cooler, mostly because they do this just because they want to. Not because they are glorifying their “great father” or something. But whatever, either way these folks have to put in a LOT of practice to pull this off. So enjoy the fruits of their labor!

Incredible Unicycle Skills

0

Unicycle ChickIt’s been a while since I featured Unicycle Bastards Invade Portland, and those guys were truly brave (or crazy) – but this little girl has got mad unicycling skills that seem to put those guys to shame!

I’m guessing this little Japanese girl must spend all day, every day, riding this thing. How many broken bones do you think she’s suffered while practicing?

Amazing Cheerleading Stunts of the Stingray All-Stars

0

Katie and King CheerleadingThe Stingray All-Stars from Marrietta, Georgia are just a serious cheerleading winning machine. According to Cheer XS in 2007 they were number 2, and in 2006 they were number 7. Any way you cut it though, they are awesome.

Here are Katie Nevin and King doing things I’d never seen before. First of all, she’s incredible. And on top of that, he’s a freaking monster to be able to throw her around like that. Simply amazing.

13 Amazing Cirque du Soleil Performances

0

Cirque du SoleilCirque du Soleil is, without a doubt the most amazing circus on the planet. They find the most incredible performers on earth and assemble them on stage for shows that literally defy description and leave audiences gasping and begging for more.

I’ve seen a number of Cirque du Soleil shows in Las Vegas as well as in various cities when they travel. The bad news is that tickets normally run around $100 per person, and you have to buy them well in advance to get great seats. The good news is, you’ll never see anything cooler in your life, so the shows are worth every penny they charge. The even better news is that I’ve assembled 13 great acts here for you to see without having to pay to do it!

Japanese Cheerleading – Boys vs Girls

0

VideoOk. I gotta give it up for the guys even turning out for this event. You gotta be either really secure in your manhood to join a team of all-boy cheerleaders, or you gotta be Japanese.

Still, if you ask me the guys would just get massacred by the ladies. Watch and see…

Urban Ninja = Death Wish: Lessons in Parkour

0

parkourThese are… AWESOME! What’s better than seeing a bunch of guys risking life and limb to flip around like a monkey / acrobat / ninja / gymnast? And seriously, there are a few scenes here in which they are REALLY risking their life…

By the way, this is actually a sport. It’s called Parkour, and people all over the world are jumping around treating the world as a public playground. Enjoy!
