Wow. Here is a very interesting letter about Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin (yeah, you know, the hot one!) from a person who’s known her for a long time. I literally spent about 10 hours researching this and added some emphasis, hyperlinks and photos within the letter. The emphasis is for things which kind of jumped out at me, the hyperlinks are obviously so that facts can be verified, and I just like photos.

After going through this letter with a fine tooth comb, I’m personally astonished by two things:

• The general accuracy of Anne Kilkenny’s recollection and documentation of events. Virtually every single thing she points out has been verified by external sources (as you’ll see).
• The voraciousness, and amount, of controversy that surrounds Sarah Palin. She wasn’t kidding when she called herself a “pit bull”. She is one mean SOB.

I can’t wait to hear everyone’s opinions about this letter. Though I’d bet money that it’s not going to change anyone’s minds. I’m willing to bet that the Republicans will support her simply because she’s on the Republican ticket (plus the fact that she’s like the mean cheerleader from high-school who you either love or fear), and that the Democrats will hate her for exactly the same reasons. Ok. It’s the middle of winter, and we’re all sitting around complaining about how cold it is outside. But before you continue your whining, watch this video! This video taken in Fairbanks, Alaska (on the UAF campus) shows a pan of boiling water being thrown into the air in -45 degree weather.

The water evaporates almost instantly, and this has to be one of the coolest things you could possibly do in this kind of weather.
