Folks, I’m neither a Democrat, nor a Republican. But my mom asked me to give her an unbiased, factual rundown on the political platforms - so what my mother wants, my mother gets! Here you go Mom…
I’m making the presumption that the two candidates who are going to actually be running for President are Barack Obama, and John McCain. So, below I’ve taken the liberty of narrowing down all the data to these two guys. What you need to do is line up as many of your political ideal matches and then you can rationally choose who you are voting for.

All you hear about on the news today is Obama’s racist preacher this… and Obama’s preacher that…
Well, I don’t like to trust the mainstream media to do my interpreting for me. No sir, as Stephen Colbert likes to point out, the mainstream media is way too focused on “truthiness”, and I don’t like to be all weighed down with “facts”. That’s why I like to turn to the Red State Update, to get my news from Jackie and Dunlap!

Let’s face it. It looks like the two most likely candidates that will be put forth by the Democratic party for the next presidential election will be Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton. Love em’ or hate em’, you better start getting familiar with their political views now.
So, here is a speech Senator Obama gave on August 2 regarding how he believes the US needs to fight Terrorism. I’m not going to color it with any opinion, just let you guys watch it and tell me what you think!

There is a awfully long time until the next presidential election, so I’m not really taking any campaigning that seriously yet, but I keep running into Obama links and activities online and finally decided to check out his Web site.
Before I talk about the results of my investigation I’ll share the only three pre-conceived notions I had about him before I took a look at his site:
Certainly none of these things has any bearing on whether this man would make a good President, but that’s about all I thought I knew about him. So, here is what I learned after I visited his site…
