Batman Dark KnightIf you haven’t seen pictures from the upcoming Dark Knight Movie then you’re missing out. You’re missing out on controversial makeup (yes, makeup can be controversial). Apparently the appearance of the deranged Joker is sparking debate. Mostly, some say he’s about as scary as a birthday clown that ran out of funding.

Now, normally I don’t talk a lot about superhero flicks, but Batman is an exception … because he’s awesome. And the Nolan brothers are, too. So is Christian Bale. Awesomeness quotient is definitely fulfilled, proceed with entry.

Iron Man Movie Trailer

Iron Man Robert Downey JrWow, I can’t wait to see the new Iron Man movie! It look like it isn’t due out for almost 6 months, but based on the trailer here, it’s going to be good. EDIT: They’ve now released the official Iron Man Web site.

The movie stars Robert Downy Jr. and Gwyneth Paltrow, and not that I have a problem with either of them, they just aren’t the people I would have called most likely to be in this sort of movie.

One Man’s Weekly Links - October 12, 2007

This weeks theme… Art!

World's FinestI’m giving fair warning right up front here. If you’re a Superhero movie fan you’re going to disappointed after you watch this trailer. Why? Because you are going to want to see this movie, but you can’t. Because it doesn’t exist. However, that hasn’t stopped 371 people from voting this 5 minute long trailer up to an 8.2 rating on IMDB which, if it were a real movie, would put it in the Top 250 of all time.

The most interesting part is, this trailer was made by a fan, not DC Comics. That’s right, according to the IMDB, Grayson:

…was made as an entry for a comic book convention in which a period is given to comic book fans who make their own home-made videos. After much fanfare and praise by on-line fans DC Comics established that there were to be no more fan made movies to be shown at comic book conventions. Any persons found displaying home-made comic book movies depicting any of their characters will be contacted by their legal affairs department. Despite this fact, Grayson remains a fan favorite movie and continues to be downloaded in record numbers.
