Man Falsely Arrested in Prostitution Sting Sues City

Chicago Police BadgeImagine this… it’s 8am, you’ve just dropped your 8 year old off at school and picked up your 22 year old daughter for breakfast. While your daughter goes inside a restaurant to correct the breakfast order your wife, in the seat beside you, notices a woman waiving her arms as if in distress. So you roll down the window to see if she needs help and she leans her head into your car and offers her “services”.

Then, to add injury to insult, a few seconds later a bunch of cops rush your car, drag you out of it, and handcuff you for soliciting a prostitute. Meanwhile your wife is freaking out, and your daughter, returning to the car, screams!

How To Bootleg Movies, Music and Software Online

Illegal DownloadsI keep wondering two things, why does the RIAA continue to persecute people, and more importantly why do people do stupid enough things to keep getting prosecuted?

That organization exists for the sole purpose of suing the pants off of people, but they can only do so when people leave plenty of evidence about their activity – namely hosting content on their computers and allowing others to download it. Most of the time it seems these foolish people aren’t even aware that what they are doing by running Kazaa, eMule, Gnutella, or some other file sharing application puts them at risk.

But why in the world would anyone share their music, movie or software collections via open, anonymous connections? Especially when there are other virtually risk-free alternatives? (By the way, know your rights if RIAA comes calling.)

Athens is Burning

Greek FireIn case you’ve been living under a rock, my father’s country of birth (Greece) has massive fires raging all around Athens which have killed 63 people in just the last few days. Now, I don’t want anyone to take any of the comments I’m about to make the wrong way. I love Greece, and the Greek people. We are family.

But being that the ancient Greeks invented democracy, I’m going to exercise a little free speech here and tell you a few reasons I have little sympathy for the problems now being faced.

Tom Snyder’s 1981 Interview with Charles Manson

Charles MansonIn the 1950′s and 1960′s Charles Manson and his gang of drugged out hippies preyed on society as few criminals ever have. After eventually being sentenced to death, then having that sentence commuted to life in prison (California repealed the death penalty) the Manson “family’s” reign of terror came to an end.

The name Charles Manson now strikes fear in people, but most of us don’t really know much about the man behind the myth. For example, the fact that he was 5′ 2″ tall and under 140 pounds lets you know right off the bat that he was not a physically intimidating human.

He is also not known to have actually committed murders. Instead, he used his charisma to control a bunch of drugged out people who were desperately seeking someone to follow.

In 1981 Tom Snyder interviewed Charles Manson. This interview provides a rare look into the mind of a crazy person who simply has no remorse or comprehension of morality.

MS13, the World’s Most Dangerous Gang

Balls of Steel’s New Game ‘Urban Sprinting’

Urban SprintingThere are a few curse words in this one, but it’s exceedingly amusing anyway! This clip comes from a UK TV show called Balls of Steel.

There is a guy in the UK who’s invented his own game called “Urban Sprinting”. Basically the deal is that he’s got a device that I’m assuming he can turn on which will set off the alarms at retail stores that are designed to catch shoplifters.

Do you see where I’m going with this yet? Yep, he doesn’t steal anything, but he sets off the alarms and then runs to get the security guards to chase him! As far as he’s concerned the game doesn’t end until he’s able to get to a hamburger joint and order a burger.

Ok, I’m not going to say that I’ve personally obtained a leaked copy of OJ Simpson’s book, If I Did It… but if I had obtained it, here is how I did it!

  1. First of all, one would need to head over to SnapFiles.com and download the free uTorrent client.
  2. Save it to your computer and launch it to run the installer.
  3. AFTER you have installed it, click on this link to initiate the download. It’s from the PirateBay.
  4. At this point the uTorrent client should start up and begin downloading a PDF copy of the book. You would then only need to unzip it.

Andrew The FelonA 13 year old in Ohio is the Al Capone of kids. He’s been charged with 128 crimes including witness intimidation!

Now, with this kind of record, and at this age, nothing could make me believe this kid will ever turn his life around. In ancient societies he would have been executed long ago but in our kindler, gentler more “civilized” society he’ll be allowed to continue to prey on innocents until he’s at least 15 or 16.
