7-Election Campaign Coffee – Cast Your Vote With a Cup of Joe!

by John P.

Obama / McCain Coffee CupsThe boys and girls over in the marketing department at 7-Eleven have been working overtime and came up with an absolutely awesome election gimmick. You can stop by the convenience store and pick up your coffee in the morning, and when you do, just fill er’ up in either an Obama or a McCain cup to cast your vote!

7-Election Campaign PosterI found this out this weekend when I was forced to make an emergency pit-stop at 7-Eleven for a large cherry Slurpee. And by forced I mean I was compelled. And by compelled I mean it was necessary. Ok already… I just wanted one!

Anyway, as I was walking in, I noticed this sign hanging in the window and snapped it for all of you, my dear readers.

So, for all of those who have voted with their coffee selection, the following are the results of the Coffee Poll up to this point in time. Keep in mind that this may not be the most scientific methodology available. It’s possible that Obama supporters just happen to frequent 7-Eleven’s more than McCain supporters. Perhaps they are all at Starbucks?

Head on over to 7-Election.com for the latest results.

Obama is winning the Coffee Poll!

I literally spent about 10 hours researching this and added some emphasis, hyperlinks and photos within the letter. The emphasis is for things which kind of [...]

Independent Comparison of Democratic vs. Republican Platforms

March 25, 2008

Folks, I’m neither a Democrat, nor a Republican. But my mom asked me to give her an unbiased, factual rundown on the political platforms – so what my mother wants, my mother gets! Here you go Mom… I’m making the presumption that the two candidates who are going to actually be running for President are [...]

Barack Obama’s Plans to Fight Terrorism

December 27, 2007

Let’s face it. It looks like the two most likely candidates that will be put forth by the Democratic party for the next presidential election will be Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton. Love em’ or hate em’, you better start getting familiar with their political views now. So, here is a speech Senator Obama gave [...]
