A Guide to Free Internet Phone Calls

Free CallingIt’s amazing how much communication costs. If I add up my cellular bills, Internet bills and home phone service we’re looking at $250 a month! $3,000 a year is more than the average income of a family in 90% of the countries on earth. That is simply criminal!

Luckily, ever since the advent of the Internet those costs have been plummeting, and I would expect them to continue dropping until it costs almost nothing to talk to anyone, anywhere. (When wi-fi Internet has the same coverage as cellular networks all calls will be free!) Free Web Site Monitoring

After signing up for the service, I added and configured 5 different domains and asked the service to test each domain every 5 minutes. If the site does not respond, or if there is too much delay (latency) I also receive a notice.

Go Ahead… Open Pandora’s Box for Free Internet Radio

Pandora Internet RadioIt isn’t often that you’ll hear me calling something “world changing”, but I think this could be one of those times. TIME Magazine rated Pandora.com one of the 50 coolest Web sites, and I was a bit surprised because I’m pretty familiar with all of the good ones, but this one swept me off my feet!

Pandora.com is, for lack of a better description, your own personal streaming Internet radio station. You’ve got two different options. Just visit the site and type in an artist’s name and hear some music, or create a Login and you can save your favorites and access them from any computer, anywhere! Either way you can teach the service which songs you like or don’t like.
