WACO, Texas - When Marvin L. “Hub†Northen left Baylor University in 1929, he was one chemistry credit shy of graduating. This fall, the 100-year-old was finally granted his degree.
Northen, who lives in a nursing home in Shreveport, La., did not attend Saturday’s commencement at Baylor. But he was listed among the December 2006 graduates.

Officials acted because they were fed up with English-speaking tourists stealing them as souvenirs.

If you enjoy all sorts of violence such as firing rocket launchers at people and shooting machine guns, then Phosphor is the game for you.
If you prefer to keep all the mayhem between friends, the game does have a multi-player mode which allows you to play either over a LAN (like at the office) or via the Internet.

This list is hilarious! According to Radar Magazine these are the worst and most dangerous toys of all time, as defined by their ability to kill, maim and generally be hazardous to the well being of the children to which they were given.

Call it stupid, I don’t care, but this is totally cool. This guy put a 3,100 gallon 15 foot pool inside his living room because he heard of a place he could order a pet Penguin from! That’s 24,800 pounds, or over 12 tons, of water in the living room folks!
Well, it turns out that the whole penguin thing was a hoax, plus the guy could barely sleep for worrying that the pool would rupture in his house or something, so eventually he drained it and returned it to Costco - because of course they’ll take anything back.

Do you need to get a little something for that person who already has it all? Well, how about giving them an ice cube shaped diamond? Or better yet, an ice tray that lets them make em’ themselves! (Might even save you a few $$million).
There is a great little gift site called SpoonSisters.com which seems to have a lot of unique items. They bill themselves as a gift giving site, and I can see how that works for them.
